Redlands mayor Karen Williams says she is pleased that an administrative error in the council's annual report, which omitted details of a misconduct order against her, has been rectified.
Council has endorsed an amended version of the report which was tabled on November 9. It includes details of the misconduct order against Cr Williams, when she failed to declare a conflict of interest during discussions concerning a plan to build a power station at Mount Cotton.
Cr Williams said she was disappointed to learn of the error.
"The community needs to have confidence these documents are accurate and I'm glad that has now been rectified," she said.
Council's organisational services general manager John Oberhardt said it was an oversight.
"The error was an oversight regarding a matter that ran over two financial years (2017-18 and 2018-19), resulting in the entry being mistakenly omitted," he said.
"When informed of the error, council took immediate steps to amend the annual report.
"Council's website register was up-to-date at all times and reflected the correct information in regard to councillor conduct."
