SHELDON College students have donned their Santa hats to travel across the Redlands and beyond, spreading festive cheer.
Selected students, teachers and alumni from the school band and choir travelled to hospitals and aged care homes performing carols to bring joy to some of the region's most vulnerable residents.
Concerts were performed for patients, visiting family members and staff at the Queensland Children's Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital.
The band and choir also performed at facilities throughout the Redlands including Aveo Freedom Aged Care, Wellington Manor, Seaton Place Aged Care and Redlands Residential Care.
A school spokesperson said the carols had been enjoyed by many, with the students receiving warm welcomes from all in attendance and requests to return again next year.
"We are honoured to hear that we have had such a positive impact on all attendees and that Sheldon College students have lightened the day and brought joy into the lives of many," principal Lyn Bishop said.
"The annual Christmas Carols Tour is one of our favourite community engagement experiences of the year."
The school wished community members a happy and safe festive season.
