THREE teens have been charged after police tracked an allegedly stolen car from Hamilton to Belmont late on Friday night.
Police allege the 4WD travelled at high speeds, on the wrong side of the road and through red lights before it was intercepted by police on Old Cleveland Road.
Police saw the car - which was allegedly stolen from a Seven Hills home in the early hours of December 11 - in Hamilton about 8.30pm before officers lost sight of the vehicle.
Around 11pm police were called to Hipwood Road, Hamilton about two men acting suspiciously and 20 minutes later the car was spotted in Lynell Street, Hamilton.
Police tried to intercept the car in a carpark on Griffith Road, Nathan but the driver allegedly failed to stop, narrowly avoiding a tyre deflation device and speeding away.
Polair tracked the vehicle relaying information to patrolling police. Police allege the car travelled through several suburbs at high speed, through red lights and at times on the wrong side of the road.
Shortly after midnight, police used a tyre deflation device on Wecker Road, Mansfield with all four tyres of the stolen car impacted.
The vehicle continued into Scrub Road, Carindale on four deflated tyres with police alleging it continued travelling at high speed, driving dangerously and failing to stop for police.
Three police vehicles were damaged as officers intercepted the vehicle in Old Cleveland Road, Belmont at about 12.20am on Saturday. No police officers were injured.
An 18-year-old Carina Heights man was arrested and charged with dangerous driving, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, burglary and possessing dangerous drugs and a drug utensil.
A 17-year-old Everton Park girl was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, burglary and possessing a drug utensil.
An 18-year-old Cannon Hill man was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
