A man and woman have been charged after a high-speed police chase through Logan last night.
The pair allegedly drove Mazda ute - which was taken from a Victoria Point address - at high speed through residential areas, running red lights and cutting off motorists.
Police used spikes on Wembley Rd, Kingston, but the ute continued with deflated tyres.
The car crossed to the wrong side of Browns Plains Rd, before crashing into a garden bed.
Dog squad officers tracked the driver, a 19-year-old man, to a Holles Street address in Loganlea, where he was arrested.
The ute was stolen from Victoria Point between 4am and midday.
The 19-year-old Loganlea man and a 20-year-old Kingston woman have been charged with burglary and committing an indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a licence, breach of bail and receiving tainted property.
Both will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on February 7.
