HEAVY showers hit the Redlands again on Friday morning and the Weather Bureau is expecting more of the same over the weekend.
The forecast spells bad news for concert-goers, with 10 to 35 millimetres a 90 per cent chance for Saturday when the Elton John show is in town.
Sunday's concert could also be a wet one, with an 80 per cent chance of showers forecast to bring between 5 and 15 millimetres.
A Weather Bureau reading taken at 9am this morning showed Redlands had copped 59.4 millimetres this month.
This is despite initial forecasts suggesting the total rainfall for January was likely to be around the 25 millimetre range.
The way things are shaping up - and in the wake of a wet Wednesday and Thursday - January could prove to be the Redlands soggiest moth since October.
The Weather Bureau expects rain to ease back next week and temperatures to rise above 30 degrees.
