The rain did not deter spectators at Redland Bay's Grass Roots Bull ride on Saturday.
A big crowd was on hand for the event at the Redland Bay Hotel, as more than 150 competitors saddled up for the eighth event.
Showers sent some people scurrying for cover throughout the afternoon.
The event is a qualifying round for senior bull riders, who can use it to help qualify for the finals in the USA.
