The rain did not deter spectators at Redland Bay's Grass Roots Bull ride on Saturday.
A big crowd was on hand for the event at the Redland Bay Hotel, as more than 150 competitors saddled up for the eighth event.

The event is a qualifying round for senior bull riders, who can use it to help qualify for the finals in the USA.
