A WOMAN aged in her 40s was hospitalised after she and a teenage boy were struck by a cabinet that fell from a truck on Thursday afternoon at Victoria Point.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said paramedics were called to the scene at Kelsall Close about 4.30pm to treat the woman for large lacerations to her lower leg.
She was taken to Redland Hospital in a stable condition.
The teenager did not require transport.
The spokesman could not confirm whether the truck was moving or stationary at the time of the incident.
