Capalaba Nursery has recently relocated its business to a new location which is a much larger site, allowing expansion of the nursery with an even greater range of plants.
Now at 75 Duncan Road, Sheldon, owner Allan Gordon said "the move has allowed us to more than double the variety and level of stock that we have available for customers".
Capalaba Nursery has in stock a large range of fruit trees which include many citrus varieties, olives, feijoas, pawpaws, passionfruit, fingerlimes, mulberries, guava, and many others.
It also has a large range of low chill stone fruits that are ideal to be grown in the Brisbane climate.
"There is a large shade house at the nursery that has been filled with beautiful foliage plants for indoors and shady areas of the garden," said Allan.
"You will find in there many varieties of philodendrons, caladiums and alocasias. There are also many other ferns and palms for indoors, calatheas, aglaonemas, ficus and peperomias to name a few."
The outdoor range includes plants for hedging and privacy, feature plants, trees for shade, flowers to create the cottage garden or foliage plants to create your own tropical paradise.
There is an extensive range of natives to attract bird life to your garden and beautiful flowering lavender, daisies and many others to feed the bees and butterflies.
Capalaba Nursery also supplies turf which is delivered to the site fresh from the Turf Farm on the day it is cut.
The varieties of turf include Sir Walter, Nullabour, Sir Grange and Tiff Tuff.
Talk to the staff about what you require in a lawn and they can advise you which turf is best suited for your needs. Turf can be picked up from the nursery or directly delivered to your home.
