Bus transport from Capalaba bus interchange and other depots is becoming the norm for recent day on the greens, held at Sirromet.
The transit provides a seamless entry and exit to the grounds and saves churning up the site.
Rainy conditions has never dampened the enthusiasm for the calibre of show that has been performed in recent years. In fact, many say dancing in the rain had enhanced the concert experience.
It proved true on February 8 and 9 when Cold Chisel headlined in inclement weather, following performances from Birds of Tokyo and Magic Dirt. The band performed on Saturday to a sell out crowd of 13,000 with the Sunday concert close to being sold out as well.
Band members posted that the performance was a "huge night" as crowds endured heavy rains and "couldn't care less".
"There was incredible abandon and one of the loudest crowds of the tour."
