Ormiston House hosts an autumn craft market from 11am to 3pm on March 8.
More than 35 craft stalls will display and sell items in time for Mother's day. Craft items include jams, preserves, knitting, papercraft, artwork, photography, handmade gifts, jewellery, beading and felt work. Devonshire teas and sandwiches will be available on the veranda and patrons are invited to explore the house and grounds.
Entry is $7 adult, $5 concession and $2 children aged five to 12 years. Parking is available on site, and all funds raised support this volunteer-run community heritage organisation.
Historic Ormiston House has been restored by a dedicated team of volunteers since 1967. It is open to guests on Sunday afternoons, and a range of care groups, nursing homes, respite groups, schools, interest groups and retirement groups visit the house by appointment on weekdays.
