WYNNUM-MANLY allrounder Jason Floros has capped a successful 2019/20 campaign with Queensland Cricket's most prestigious playing award, the Peter Burge Medal.
The former Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat player produced an outstanding all-round season, scoring 943 runs at 72.50 and snaring 39 wickets at 22.6 across all three formats in the first grade competition.
He is the first Sea Eagles player to win the Peter Burge Medal in more than a decade, with Ben Laughlin the last to do it in the 2005/06 season.

Floros finished the season with 54 points, putting him four ahead 2014/15 winner Scott Walter from University of Queensland and Sandgate-Redcliffe allrounder Lloyd Aspin, who finished with 41 points.
He was also given the captain's badge in the Queensland Premier Cricket team of the year, an honorary side made up of the best performers from season 2019/20.
No other Bayside players made the cut, largely due to Wynnum-Manly and Redlands Tigers both finishing in the bottom half of the ladder across all three formats.
It was a different story in the honorary women's team of the year, with Wynnum-Manly/Redlands Tigers players Delyse Laycock and Jessica Bird among those selected.
Redlands Tigers groundsman Josh Kemp was also a winner during the virtual ceremony, taking home the Sports Turf Association groundsman award for the second year running.
Kemp and assistant Doug O'Neill were also rewarded for their hard-work at Wellington Point's Peter Burge Oval, claiming the first grade wicket and ground award for the 2019/20 season.
