TWO Redlands high school music teachers and a retired customs inspector have released a catchy coronavirus song with a special message.
Capalaba State College teachers Mick Quinn and Steve Brady with Mike Stewart wrote, recorded and produced 'Everyone's a Hero'. The music video features how COVID-19 has affected countries and people all over the world.
Mr Brady said the song was produced after the musicians noticed how difficult it was to get the message of isolation or 'stay home' out to the community.
"We felt like everyone is a hero for following the isolation rules and the idea was also to applaud the essential workers who are working the front line," he said.

Mr Brady said the trio do not consider themselves a band, but rather a music production house and write songs for specific purposes.
"Primarily we created the group to have fun with creating music without boundaries," he said.
He said Mr Quinn sang on the tracks in the hope of passing the songs on to successful artists to take the reigns.
The talented group play a vast array of instruments including piano, guitar, drums/percussion, brass and other stringed instruments.
Sm2 productions began with Mr Quinn, who has worked in the music industry all his life having a desire to use his skills and experience to create quality music with a group of like-minded friends. He recruited Mr Brady for his production skills and musicianship while Mr Stewart came on board as an advisor/promotor.
Listen out for the song on Bay FM where it will be featured this week.
