POLICE are investigating an incident at Redland Bay which allegedly saw a man kick a vehicle and smash a headlight with a metal pole on Wednesday afternoon.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the driver of the vehicle damaged in the incident was travelling west on Boundary Street about 1pm when the car behind him appeared to start swerving and tried to overtake.
The driver pulled over to the side of the road but the man in the trailing car also stopped and allegedly kicked the vehicle's door, leaving a dent.
They drove off in the same direction before stopping at a set of traffic lights where the same man is alleged to have smashed the vehicle's headlight with a metal pole.
The driver of the damaged vehicle has reported the incident to police and the matter is under investigation.
No one has yet been charged.
