A TOTAL of nine police have been added to stations at Logan, Redlands and Wynnum out of 86 who have graduated from the Oxley police academy and 55 from the Townsville Police Academy.

Cleveland, Capalaba and Wynnum will get one officer each, with the Logan district to be a major beneficiary.

Commissioner Katarina Carroll said the 141 officers would be stationed across Queensland, from the south-west to the far north.

"All of Queensland's communities expect our officers to serve with honour and integrity," Commissioner Carroll said.

Police Minister Mark Ryan said the calibre of recruits showed that the Queensland Police Service was world class. Police were expected to reach high standards.
