Logan and the Scenic Rim will shiver through another cold night as the winter bite continues in the south-east tonight, but it will be warmer in the Redlands, forecasters say.
Jimboomba's and Beaudesert's minimum temperatures will drop to four degrees tonight, according to the Bureau of Meteorology, but that will be warmer than the previous few days, when parts of the region hit record lows for May over the weekend.
The temperature dropped below zero at Beaudesert, and Canungra was not much warmer at just 1.5 degrees overnight Saturday.
Forecasters are expecting a high of 22 degrees in Jimboomba tomorrow, and the same temperature in Beaudesert.
On Thursday, the mercury will drop to seven degrees in Jimboomba, with a high of 22.
Highs of 23 are predicted for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The forecast maximum in Beaudesert on Thursday is 21 degrees, 22 on Friday and 23 on Saturday and Sunday.
Minimums in the Redlands are expected to be warmer, with a low of eight degrees predicted for tomorrow morning at Cleveland, and a top of 20.
On Thursday, the bureau has forecast a range of 11 to 21, and 12 to 21 degrees is predicted for Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday, Cleveland residents can expect a range of 12 to 23, according to forecasters.
Cooler, drier conditions come in the wake of a trough system which swept across south-east corner of the state, forecaster Kimba Wong said.
