People who take drugs or drink and then drive be warned.
Police have resumed roadside breath and drug testing across Logan, Scenic Rim and Redlands, in the wake of COVID-19 restrictions.
The multi-vehicle sites had previously been suspended to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and to minimise health risks to QPS officers and the community.
These high visibility road safety initiatives resumed on Friday.
But people continue to flout the law, with police revealing more than 220 drivers testing positive for drink-driving over the weekend.
About one in three tested positive for drugs, with almost 300 road side drug tests completed.
Officers said road safety continued to be a high priority for QPS, and motorists could expect to be tested anywhere at any time.
"The community will see the static sites right across the State, back in place to ensure the safety of everyone on our road network," a spokesman said.
The news comes in the wake of a renewed safety call from officers after eight people died in 72 hours across the state.
The horror weekend followed a report which revealed fatal crashes were up eight per cent on last year across the state.
