A MAN and a woman have been arrested after a stolen car was allegedly used to ram police vehicles at a Wellington Point service station this afternoon.
A police spokesman said an 18-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man got out of the car, a Holden Trax, at the Wellington Point BP at about 12.40pm.
The car had reportedly been stolen from a Cleveland address on Monday.
Police allege when the woman returned to the car and was approached by officers, she rammed two police vehicles before driving away.
The man was arrested at the service station.
Polair was used to help track down the woman, who was arrested at about 3pm.
Charges are being processed.
EARLIER
POLICE have taken a person into custody after an allegedly stolen car was spotted at a Redlands service station this afternoon.
A QPS spokesman said police were called after Holden Trax, reported stolen from a Cleveland address yesterday, was seen at the Wellington Point BP on Main Road at 12.40pm on Tuesday.
The spokesman said police, including Polair, had tracked the car before arresting a person about 3pm.
