Redlands artist Tina Dinte and gallery curator Natasha Gibson Scott have teamed up for a solo art exhibition being staged at the Downstairs Art Gallery at Scrumptious Reads, Red Hill from July 19 to August 1.
The theme of the exhibition is 'Interpretation' and features a display of large and small artworks illustrating Ms Dinte's interpretation.
"My paintings aren't meant to be realistic. They are how I interpret the subject through the use of bold colours, texture and intricate linework," she said.
The exhibition includes a collection of large floral and abstract artworks and a selection of new paintings. She will also have a large selection of colourful prints and framed originals for sale.
"I am grateful to Natasha who as the gallery curator is is a great advocate in promoting artists based in the Redlands and throughout Brisbane," she said.
The official opening is from 3pm to 8pm on July 19 with five time slots available to 20 attendees. The first six visitors at each time slot will receive a gift bag.
Scrumptious Reads, 92a Arthur Terrace, Red Hill is open Tuesday to Friday from 9:30am to 3pm and weekends from 9am to 1pm.
