POLICE are investigating after a crash at Redland Bay killed a 69-year-old Wynnum West woman.
Police said preliminary investigations indicated around 3.45pm a silver Mazda turned right from Serpentine Creek Road when it collided with a truck travelling on Cleveland Redland Bay Road.
The woman, who was driving the Mazda, was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was uninjured.
The forensic crash unit is investigating.

POLICE say a 69-year-old woman has died after a crash on Cleveland Redland Bay Road on Tuesday afternoon.
A car and truck were involved in the crash on Cleveland Redland Bay Road at Serpentine Creek Road before 4pm.

CLEVELAND Redland Bay Road is still teeming with emergency service vehicles after a crash near Serpentine Creek Road before 4pm.
The crash, which involved a silver Mazda and a large truck, saw a woman sustain critical injuries.
The intersection is regarded as one of the Redlands' most dangerous.
A person died in March last year after a two-car crash at the same spot.
A 36-year-old mother from Redland Bay was also killed when another vehicle allegedly veered in front of her minivan on Serpentine Creek Road in February.
Emergency services are asking people to avoid the area. Diversions are in place in both directions.
Update 5.10pm
Cleveland Redland Bay Road has been closed off in a south-bound direction and traffic is being diverted down German Church Road after a serious crash.
Paramedics, including the critical care team, remain on scene.

PARAMEDICS are reportedly treating a person with critical injuries after a car and truck crash at Redland Bay.
An ambulance spokeswoman said QAS had been called to Cleveland Redland Bay Road at Serpentine Creek Road at 3.42pm.
Paramedics, fire and emergency services and police are on scene.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
