From August 7 to 16, The Ekka's host website will direct traffic towards a range of virtual market places, including Mount Cotton's Sirromet where Ekka enthusiasts can buy and look at some Ekka themed products and experiences.

A Sirromet spokesperson said it was a mutually beneficial promotion between the Ekka and itself as one of the Queensland wine sponsors.

"Of course we want to be involved," the spokesperson said.

Ekka Communication officer Nicole Clifton said the market place featured a range of retailers who had been long term exhibitors and were show favourites.

Also getting on board the Ekka experience is IGA at Mount Cotton where showbags are on sale.
