It may be a monochrome challenge, but the interest is colourful at the Macleay Island Art's complex.
The challenge opens at 1.30pm on August 8 with winners to be announced at 3pm. The afternoon opening allows patrons to enjoy the water views.
Entry to the opening is $5 inclusive of wine and nibbles.
For those entering the challenge, artworks and pottery can be dropped off on August 1, 2 and 3. The exhibition will remain open from 10am to 3pm from Tuesday to Sunday from August 10 to 22.
Art works are for sale and all unsold artworks with permission slips will go to Russell Island Art Group for display for 10 days, then returned to MIAC for pickup.
