A MAN has been taken to hospital with spinal precautions after a car rollover on Russell Island on Thursday night.
Paramedics were called to Canaipa Point Drive about 9pm, where the car had rolled.
The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said two QFES crews had been on the site for an hour, stabilising the car and clearing the area while paramedics treated the man.
The spokeswoman said a tow truck had been called to remove the car.
It came after an incident yesterday where a person was hospitalised with burns after oil caught fire at a home at Alexandra Hills.
Paramedics, including critical care, were called to the address at 4.23pm.
The person sustained burns to their face.
