REDLANDS College students in year two and four have decorated the school's reception area with artwork inspired by the Wellington Point environment.
Junior visual arts teacher Miranda Goodridge said students had created a vibrant painting featuring leaves, flowers and insects made out of clay.

Year two students were tasked with creating the flowers, while those in year four worked on the leaves and insects.
Ms Goodridge said the students had chosen a tropical theme so they could use vibrant colours and draw the attention of people walking past the artwork.
"After being asked to create a new artwork for the public reception area, we thought about developing a piece to reflect the tropical climate and environment of Wellington Point," she said.
"The students needed to understand the size of the space so we had a quick tour before we started making (the artwork).
"The students created painted papers in warm and cool colour schemes, adding patterns and textures with painting tools inspired by artist and illustrator Eric Carle."
The artwork is on public display in the school's reception area.
