Queensland Health has today announced three new COVID-19 cases, bringing total cases to 1,092. None of the cases is currently considered to be a risk to the community.
The first case is a male in his 30s who has tested positive while in hotel quarantine after returning from Sydney. He remains in hotel quarantine and is being managed by Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
The second and third cases relate to crew onboard a cargo vessel off the coast of Queensland. They are likely to be transferred to shore soon and admitted to Townsville University Hospital. All other crew from the vessel have been tested and are confirmed negative.
There are currently nine active cases in Queensland.
Queensland Health said the three women who were admitted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital after testing positive to COVID-19 late last month had all now been assessed and determined to no longer be infectious. Subsequently all three women have been discharged from hospital.

Queensland Health advised the most up-to-date reliable information was available on their website at health.qld.gov.au/coronavirus.
They said it was vital that anyone in Queensland, especially those who had been interstate in the last 14 days, get a COVID-19 test if they develop symptoms, even if mild.
Symptoms may include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste, and fatigue.
