POLICE have urged drivers to take caution at Alexandra Hills after several cars were damaged by rocks, believed to have been thrown from the roadside.
Police are investigating several alleged wilful damage incidents reported along Redland Bay Road.
Witnesses told police that people were seen running from the side of the road and back into the bush. They heard a loud bang as they drove past before discovering their car had been damaged by rocks.
Two similar incidents allegedly occurred between 3pm and 5pm between September 16 and 18.
Police are appealing for anyone that may have witnessed the incidents or who may have dashcam footage to contact them.
