JESSICA Taylor from Alexandra Hills has been awarded the 2020 Queensland Young Achiever of the Year title.
The annual awards shines a light on volunteers, community initiatives and even small businesses making an impact in their community. The awards recognise the achievements of Queenslanders who are younger than 29 years old.
Ms Taylor also took home the iFly Online Achievement Award. With hundreds of nominations, Ms Taylor won the award from a strong field of young achievers.
The 26-year-old woman is passionate about supporting, empowering and making a difference in the lives of women.
Ms Taylor is the President and Director of QENDO, a not-for-profit that supports women and girls affected with endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS or infertility.
She has engaged with communities and businesses to seek out gaps and create new innovative ways to meet the needs for those suffering with chronic illnesses.
Ms Taylor has designed and developed websites for local and community businesses in Queensland and envisions Australia as a connected nation where access to information and innovative applications and websites help and support people.
President and Director of QENDO, Ms Taylor is responsible for developing a mobile app for people with chronic conditions such as endometriosis.
