The artist demonstrations planned for the coming year began very successfully with Vicki Whalan on the October 10.

Visitors watched as Vicki painted and were able to ask questions about her processes and practice.

It was a great day for everyone.

The next demonstration is on Sunday, October 25, from 10am to 2pm with Christine Earthrowl showcasing and talking about her watercolour techniques.

On Saturday, November 28, we have Tina Horton, our brilliant silversmith, with metal texturing.

Join Tina at the gallery from 10am to noon as she demonstrates just a few of her favourite techniques and textures on metal.

We mentioned last month that a surprise gift bag will be presented to a visitor to the gallery on a certain day and time.

This month's winner was Sue Thomas, a regular visitor to our gallery, who called in on Sunday, October 11. Congratulations Sue.

The Old SchoolHouse Gallery has amazing painters, ceramic artists, photographers and jewellers.
