THE Bay Islands Golf Club held its annual breast cancer tee-off charity golf day.
Golfers raised $13500 for breast cancer research, a significant increase from last year's $7200.
The event was well supported by locals and mainland players and businesses.
The raffle and auction prizes ranged from five nights at Samarinda Resort on North Stradbroke Island including a barge ticket, courtesy of Sealink, Samarinda Resort, KCW Builders and Russell Island Concrete.
The auction included a 65" Smart TV which was donated by The Good Guys and an anonymous golf club member from Macleay Island.
The Bay Islands Golf Club thanked people for coming together and supporting the event and also Redlands MP Kim Richards for her continued support over the past three years.
