THE controversial golf game show Holey Moley, filmed in Thornlands last year will premiere next month.
The Seven Network announced the extreme mini golf series will air on Monday February 1 at 7.30pm.
Redland City Council has signed a three-year contract with Eureka Productions to use the site to film other versions of the show.
The game show was in the spotlight last year after residents living near the filming site attempted to halt future production with a petition put to council to find a new site after they were kept up all night by noise during production.
The show will boast some of the country's top golfing talent stepping onto the astroturf to take on the obstacles.
Golfers battling it out for glory on the championship course include Australia's number one female golfer four years running Montana Strauss, James Carr aka The Dancing Cowboy, who played Tiger Woods in the Australian Masters and Australia's number one women's mini golf player Colette Norton.
Contestants will compete for a chance to win $100,000 in prize money.
In the first round of each episode, eight players compete in a series of head-to-head matchups. Only the four winners go through to the second round to battle it out.
Those who are victorious head straight to the final hole. The remaining two compete in the Distractor Duel for the last spot in the final three-way battle.
