REDLANDS United continued their preparations for the 2021 National Premier League season on Saturday when they played host to Holland Park Hawks at Cleveland.
The Red Devils were forced to make a number of injury replacements during the first half of the game.
However, a brace to Ryo Emoto saw the Red Devils lead at the break 2-1.
The scoreline could have been more except for some great point blank saves made by the young Holland Park goal keeper.
Shuto Kuboyama netted a second half brace, including a penalty for a clear foul made on Dylan Brent, and Jesse Gibbs finished off Kuboyama's great work to seal a 5-1 victory for the Red Devils.
Despite the score, the Hawks never gave up and continued to put pressure on the hosts.
In the Under 23 game Redlands United also claimed the victory with a 3-1 result.
Next Saturday the Red Devils take the trip down to the Gold Coast as they continue their pre-season preparations against Broadbeach FC.
The game kicks off at 6pm with the Under 23s at 4pm and Under 18s at 2pm.
Broadbeach always provide tough competition for Redlands but the Red Devils are in form and will be up for the challenge.
