REDLAND City FC has seen a spike in registrations ahead of the 2021 season but are still looking for players in a few junior teams and the club's inaugural women's side.
The Redbacks were successful in their first season last year, with the under 12 division five south outfit winning silverware and the men's team finishing runners-up in the Queensland Independent Football League.
Good numbers turned up to the club's two sign-on days held at Donald Road Sportsfield ahead of the new season.
The committee said they were excited with the growth in player numbers, which has allowed the club to open extra junior teams and form a second men's team.
Players are still needed for the under 13 and under 14 age groups, and for what the club hopes will be the first Redbacks ladies team.
Spots are also available in the under eight to under 10 age groups, and some in the senior men's teams. Training starts this week for the under 12 to under 15 sides.
People interested in joining the club can contact the Redland City Facebook page or email redlandcityfc@gmail.com.
