A WOMAN in her 50s has been taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital after a two-vehicle crash at Mount Cotton this morning.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the woman had sustained limb injuries and was in a serious condition.
Paramedics were called to the scene on Mount Cotton Road at 8.05am.
A man in his 80s was also involved in the crash but was in a stable condition when taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital earlier today.
Both people had to be freed from their vehicles.
Update 9.20am
PARAMEDICS remain at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Mount Cotton Road, with one person said to be in a serious condition.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said another person involved in the crash had been transported in a stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Both had been trapped in their vehicle.

Two units were on scene but more were on the way.
Paramedics were called at 8.05am. The nearest crossroads to the scene were Burkes Avenue and Seaview Road.
