A MAN has been taken into custody after an hours-long police incident at Finucane Road today.
Police have revoked an emergency declaration previously in place for the area.
Emergency services were called to a disturbance around 9.30am at a private address.
Police established an exclusion zone just after 12.30pm for reasons of public safety.
The incident was peacefully resolved through negotiation and a man was taken into custody.
No one was harmed during the incident.
The declared zone has been reopened.
Police thanked residents and motorists for their understanding and patience.

POLICE have made an emergency declaration at Capalaba as an incident continues to unfold on Finucane Road.
Police were called to a disturbance around 9.30am at a private address and are negotiating with a man who is the only person in the house.
The exclusion zone encompasses Ingham Street, north along Abelia Street to Remita Court and across Valentine Park to Willard Road.
People are advised to avoid the area and urged to follow the advice of emergency services on the ground.

POLICE and emergency services have been standing by at an address in Finucane Road since 9.30am.
Lanes are blocked off and police, ambulance and fire and emergency services are on scene at a Capalaba house as an incident unfolds.
Neighbours have reportedly been evacuated and a police spokeswoman said the situation was volatile.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services could not confirm details but said two crews were on scene, the first of which had arrived at 9.50am.
A police spokeswoman said officers had blocked off part of the road near Abelia Street and people should avoid the area.
One lane has been closed heading towards Cleveland.
A witness said police were directing traffic down Willard Road.
