REDLANDS cricketers Marnus Labuschagne and Jimmy Peirson have been included in the Queensland Bulls squad to face a star-studded NSW side in the Sheffield Shield final this week.
The Bulls will be looking for their first red ball premiership in three years when they take to Allan Border Field on Thursday.
Labuschagne and Peirson were in the side when Queensland last hoisted the Shield after beating Tasmania in the 2017/18 final.
Both are expected to take up their usual spots in the starting eleven for Thursday's decider, with Labuschagne to bat at three and Peirson to take the gloves.
The wicket-keeper - who made a few appearances for Redlands Tigers this season - has had a breakout year with the bat, having scored 324 runs for BBL franchise Brisbane Heat and 366 runs for the Bulls in the Shield.

Meanwhile, Labuschagne continued his outstanding form for Australia during the recently completed test series against India on home soil, scoring 426 runs at 53.25.
His average in test cricket remains above 60 after 18 matches and 31 innings.
New South Wales - who finished the season in second position - are likely to go into the game with a bowling attack featuring test trio Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood.
Also included in the squad are former Australian representatives Peter Nevill and Trent Copeland, who are among the side's most experienced players.
The first ball of the final is to be bowled at Allan Border Field on Thursday, April 15 at 9.30am.
Entry is free and parking is available in Albion Park, which can be accessed via Greg Chappell Street.
If the five day final is a draw, the winner will be determined on the same bonus point system as that which was used during the regular season.
