Ford driver Anton De Pasquale has claimed the first two pole positions of his Supercars career for Sunday's two races at Tailem Bend.
De Pasquale arrived at The Bend Motorsport Park without a P1 from qualifying since he joined the Supercars field in 2018 but claimed two inside a half hour by topping the timesheets in both of Sunday's 10-minute qualifying runs.
The first pole position of the Shell V-Power Racing driver's career came in the opening session when he and teammate Will Davison locked out the front row for the first 24-lap race.
De Pasquale clocked a one minute and 48.6765 second fastest lap on the 4.95km track, with Davison second fastest with a 1:48.8677.
Fords dominate the front of the grid for Sunday's first race, with De Pasquale fronting a pack of five Mustangs including Tim Slade and Saturday race winner Andre Heimgartner.
Chaz Mostert is the best-placed Holden driver after qualifying sixth.
Championship leader Shane Van Gisbergen and Red Bull Ampol Racing teammate Jamie Whincup could only qualify 13th and 16th respectively for race one.
The pair bounced back in the second qualifying run, with Whincup (1:48.4860) qualifying second behind De Pasquale (1:48.1859).
Van Gisbergen, who is celebrating his 32nd birthday, qualified fourth and will join Ford's Cameron Waters on the second row of the grid.
Mostert again qualified third in his Walkinshaw Andretti United Commodore.
Sunday's first race starts at 12.30pm (1pm AEST) with the second race to begin at 3.40pm (4.10pm AEST).
