A 26-year-old Surfers Paradise man has been arrested and charged after a fatal crash at Sheldon on Monday night.
The man was behind the wheel of a Holden sedan which collided with a motorbike at the intersection of Mount Cotton and Henderson roads.
The 40-year-old motorbike rider was declared dead at the scene.
The 26-year-old has been remanded until July 12 after being charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

A 40-year-old man has died after a crash at Sheldon yesterday afternoon.
The man was riding his motorbike in a westbound direction on Mount Cotton Road when he collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction, according to initial investigations.
Police and emergency services were called but the man was declared dead at the scene.
Anyone with information about the crash, which took place at the intersection of Mount Cotton and Henderson roads, is urged to contact police.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are ongoing.

PARAMEDICS are at the scene of a serious crash near the intersection of Mount Cotton and Henderson roads at Sheldon.
The crash is between a motorbike and vehicle.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics were called at 3.54pm.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area if possible.
It comes less than a week after a motorcyclist died on Redland Bay Road at Capalaba.
Police investigations suggest the motorbike rider had hit a truck while it was turning left into a driveway.
The crash took place about 5.30pm last Wednesday.
