FOUR New South Wales teen P platers have been slapped with fines after an alleged hooning incident at North Stradbroke Island.
Police say the group, aged between 17 and 18, were seen doing donuts and fishtailing south of the Main Beach causeway at Point Lookout.
They were caught shortly after midday on Thursday while police were patrolling the beach and issued $427 fines.

Sergeant Darren Scanlan said it only took one wheel to dig in and the consequences were often fatal.
"The beach is a gazetted road," he said. "The same rules apply on the beach as the bitumen."
Man arrested on public nuisance charge
A 24-year-old Dunwich man has been charged with public nuisance after allegedly yelling obscenities in public.
Police were called to Mallon Street at 5pm on Wednesday where the man was also seen behaving in a threatening manner.
He is due in Cleveland Magistrates Court at a later date.
Elsewhere, a 41-year-old Dunwich P plater was charged with drink driving after blowing over the limit on Sunday night.
The woman was pulled over at 6.15pm while police were patrolling Bingle Road at Dunwich and allegedly returned reading of 0.052.
Provisional licence holders are not permitted to drive after drinking alcohol and must have a blood alcohol concentration of zero.
Police also handed out 12 traffic infringement notices in the past week for offences like speeding, unregistered driving and people not wearing seatbelts.
Four tickets were issued to drivers that were more than 19km/h over the speed limit.
Sergeant Scanlan said there would be a visible police presence on the island during the school holidays.
