A CEDAR Vale man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Mount Cotton Road at Cornubia last night, and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The man, 31, died when his bike left the road and hit a culvert, police said.
He died at the scene about 9.30pm.
Crash investigators want anyone with dashcam footage to come forward by calling Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
It comes about a month after the death of a 40-year-old motorbike rider at Sheldon.
The man was riding his motorcycle on Mount Cotton Road when he collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
A 26-year-old Surfers Paradise man was arrested and charged after the crash, which took place on June 22.
The Cornubia incident is the second fatal motorcycle accident this week at Logan.
A 17-year-old Chinchilla boy died when the trail bike he and a pillion passenger were riding struck a pole on Eridani Avenue at Kingston.
He succumbed to serious head injuries at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. The passenger, a 16-year-old girl, had serious leg injuries.
A 27-year-old Taigum man had an arm injury after an accident on the Gateway Motorway just after midnight.
His bike clipped a wall, police say.
