A WOMAN who allegedly refused to wear a face mask at a North Stradbroke Island pub is due to face court next month charged with two offences.
Police allege the 55-year-old Carrara woman threw a drink at the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel manager after being asked to leave the venue about 12.15pm Friday.
It comes a few months after two patrons were ejected from the same pub for failing to comply with the mask mandate brought in after the snap greater Brisbane lockdown in April.
The woman is due in Cleveland Magistrates Court next month charged with common assault and failing to leave a licenced premises.

Sergeant Darren Scanlan said poor behaviour related to the mask mandate was becoming a common occurrence and hospitality workers were in the firing line.
"This woman's actions were completely unwarranted," he said. "The wearing of masks is there to protect the health of the local community and reduce the risk of any spread of Covid."
Deputy Premier Steven Miles announced this morning that the mask mandate, brought in a day prior to the south-east lockdown at the end of last month, would be extended for a further seven days.
Further restrictions put in place include stadium capacity at venues which seat more than 20,000 being cut to 75 per cent.
Those attending sporting events must wear a mask while seated unless eating or drinking.
Some restrictions have been eased, with gatherings in homes to increase from 30 to 100 people and hospitality businesses allowed to revert back to the one person per two square metre rule.
Sergeant Scanlan said those who refused to do the right thing and wear a mask were putting the community at risk.
