CAPALABA FC are adamant their Pink Weekend fundraiser will be back after falling victim to the latest snap Covid lockdown.
The Bulldogs' plans were scuttled on and off the pitch on Saturday with the lockdown announcement coming just as the club's charity event was starting.
President Shaun McAney said the club would do something post-lockdown.
"The morning was great with lots of support," he said. "The amount of people volunteering was amazing.
"We have plans for how we can finish pink weekend in the upcoming weeks."
The weekend's National Premier Leagues home ties for men's and women's sides were also postponed.
The forced lay-off gives the men's side time to reassess after their winning run ended on Wednesday night with a 5-0 defeat at Lions FC.
