QUEENSLAND and Brisbane Heat star James Peirson stole the show for Redlands Tigers as they racked up their first win of the premier grade one-day campaign against Sandgate-Redcliffe on Saturday.
The 28-year-old showed plenty of class as he scored an unbeaten century, overshadowing Australian batsman Marnus Labuschagne (13) and fellow Heat player Sam Heazlett (37).
Redlands had few issues during the run chase, losing six wickets as they ran down the opposition's total with five overs to spare.
All-rounder James Bazley started the day off brilliantly for Redlands, snaring a wicket with the first ball of the game and capturing two more before the innings was done to finish with figures of 3/24.

Former Shield player Simon Milenko also had a field day with the ball, claiming 4/60 and helping dismiss Sandgate-Redcliffe for an under-par 244.
The Redlands second grade team made it another big win over Sandgate-Redcliffe at the weekend after being sent into bat and piling on 320 inside 50 overs.
Opener Stephan Muller continued his good form with 72 from just 68 balls, while Michael McEwan and Jason Grosvenor also raised the bat.
The opposition started the run chase strongly, putting on 51 for the first wicket as Redlands struggled to make inroads.
But the innings quickly fell away, thanks mainly to youngster James Pullar who had the Sandgate batsmen in a spin with his off-breaks as he claimed his first second grade five wicket haul.
The home side were eventually dismissed for just 197, having their way to that total in 41 overs.
