Capalaba FC have stormed into their first ever National Premier Leagues Women's Grand Final after a dramatic 2-1 win over Gold Coast United on Sunday.
Attacker Amber Simms was the hero for the Bulldogs as she netted the winner with eight minutes remaining at Coplicks Family Sports Park in the come-from-behind win.
Whitney Knight was also on the scoresheet for the determined Bulldogs - converting the crucial equalising goal midway through the second stanza.
Earlier, the hosts had taken a single goal lead into half-time through their leading goal scorer Isabella Habuda.
However, the combined experience of player of the match Steph Latham, and the club's contingent of Brisbane Roar and Matildas stars, ultimately steadied the ship to secure a famous victory.
The result marks the Bulldogs first ever Finals win in the state's elite women's competition after successive Semi Final exits in recent seasons.
Archie Kahondo's side will now tackle Premiers and defending Champions Lions FC in the Grand Final at Perry Park on Saturday for this year's title.
Kahondo, who was named the league's Coach of the Month in September, said he couldn't be prouder of his charges' belief and determination in the hard-fought contest.
"It was a very emotional end to the game," he explained.
"I am just very proud of the girls. They stepped up when it mattered and got rewarded for it.
"Now it is on to the big dance. We need to build on this feeling."
The Grand Final showdown adds to what was already looming as a massive weekend for the Bulldogs, with the NPL Men's side set to tackle local rival Redlands United on Sunday.
The Bayside Derby is a relegation decider, with the eleventh placed Bulldogs needing at least a draw to secure their place in the top tier for 2022.
