TWO men from Redland Bay were stabbed when an altercation broke out at a Marine Parade home in Biggera Waters in the early hours of Sunday.
Police said preliminary investigations indicated around 4.30am two men had allegedly thrown accelerant at the front glass door of the unit.
It is believed several people, who were inside the unit had come out onto the footpath and an argument broke out with the two men.
According to police, during the disagreement a 22-year-old man was stabbed four times in his abdomen and chest.
A 42-year-old man was stabbed twice, in his face and body.
The men went to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
Police investigations are ongoing.
