SOAKING rain over much of south-east Queensland has topped monthly averages, with forecasters saying there is up to a 95 per cent chance of it continuing for a further week.

Redlands recorded 58.2mm in 24 hours.
The bayside district has had 107mm for the month, beating its November average of 90.4mm.
Weather Bureau forecasters say daily showers are expected in the Redlands into next week.
The good season in the Beaudesert and Jimboomba districts is expected to continue at least in the short term, with the likelihood of rain easing to 60 per cent on Tuesday.
Meterologists yesterday announced that potentially rain bearing La Nina climate conditions were under way in the Pacific Ocean.
This increases the potential for rain, may produce more cyclones in the north and generally cooler conditions across the state.
