Primary producers in South Australia hit by a damaging spring storm can apply for recovery grants of up to $10,000.
The assistance will be funded jointly by the state and federal governments with applications to be taken from Monday.
Emergency Management Minister Bridget McKenzie said recent hail, strong winds and heavy rain caused significant damage to crops and farm infrastructure across SA.
"The severe weather devastated horticulture and farming properties from the Eyre Peninsula right across South Australia to the Victorian border," Senator McKenzie said.
"Without the right support, the storm's widespread impact on the farming sector could mean production and viability disruption well beyond the current season."
The grants can be used for essential recovery activities including clean-up and debris removal, salvaging crops and repairs to damaged farm infrastructure and equipment.
South Australian Primary Industries Minister David Basham said the widespread storm impacted an unprecedented number of primary production sectors, with early damage estimates of more than $350 million.
Grain growers on the Eyre and York peninsulas, grape growers in the Barossa Valley and horticulturalists on the Northern Adelaide Plains were all impacted, he said, as were fruit and almond growers in the Adelaide Hills and Riverland.
The state government has worked with industries and growers to quantify the damage to production, identify recovery needs, help with clean-up and provide wellbeing support.
"Disaster recovery grants of up to $10,000 will help South Australia's resilient farmers and growers get back on their feet and continue to produce some of the world's best food and fibre," Mr Basham said.
