Local soprano is ready for travel
Her suitcase has been packed for the past two years.
And finally Alexandra Hills soprano Mirusia will finish those performance tours she started in 2019.
Next year promises to be a big year for the singer who says the last two years have simply been a holiday.
In 2022, Mirusia will finish her Salute to the Seekers classic tour, performing a final seven shows in Victoria and New South Wales and completing a 40-show tour which started in 2019.
"Some of these shows were first postponed due to the bushfires, then moved again.
"It's the tour that doesn't end and I've been told possibly one of the longest running tours around," she said.
On February 12, Mirusia will launch her Songbird tour, as part of the release of her newest CD, playing first to a home town crowd at the Redland Performing Arts Centre before performing on May 8 at Twin Towns.
In March, she has teamed with Mark Vincent to present a West End to Broadway show and she has plans for two concerts in The Netherlands in May and December. In between there are recording sessions and a few other offers "on the boil".
"It is three years crammed into one. That's crazy," she said.
But living out of a suitcase is a lifestyle Mirusia craves....
