Optus has resolved a network outage which impacted its mobile and fixed landline customers for most of Tuesday morning.
The telecommunications company's customers were experiencing interrupted voice services on mobile and fixed landline services.
As of 12:40pm, an Optus spokesperson said the technical issue impacting customers had now been resolved.
"We sincerely apologise to customers for any inconvenience and thank them for their patience while affected services were restored."
Earlier an Optus spokesperson said some voice customers were experiencing issues due to the network outage.
"Our teams have identified the fault and restoration of voice services for impacted customers is underway," the spokesperson said.
"We apologise to impacted customers and thank them for their patience while the remaining affected services are restored."
The company said it was also aware that some NBN landline customers may be intermittently experiencing issues making calls on their service.
