South East Queensland is in for another wet weekend, with cool temperatures and sunny skies forecast during the week.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast mostly sunny skies for Wednesday with overnight temperatures expected to fall between 5 and 9 degrees while reaching a maximum of 20 during the day.
Sun protection is recommended from 9:30am to 2:20pm with the UV index predicted to reach moderate rating of 5.
Partly cloudy skies are expected for Thursday with light morning winds again predicted. Temperatures will drop to a minimum of 11 degrees and reach a top of 21.
Rainy conditions are forecast for Friday with the BOM predicting a 40 per cent chance of rain with similar temperatures to Thursday
Rain will continue into the weekend with 5 to 15mm predicted to fall on Saturday.
Sunday is expected to be less wet with only a 30 per cent chance of showers predicted. Temperatures will drop to a low of 11 degrees while reaching a top of 23.
Logan and Beaudesert residents can expect similar conditions throughout the week and heading in to the weekend with rain expected to fall on both Friday and Saturday.
Maximum temperatures will hover around 20 to 23 degrees while reaching a low of 7 to 12 degrees throughout the nights.
