Sunday, July 14 was a special day for local football fans when the Capalaba Bulldogs Football club went Pink to highlight breast cancer awareness.

A huge crowd attended the club grounds where the bulldogs hosted three women's football games with local players adorned in pink hair, socks and paying strips.
Popular club member Dee Cobb raised monies including shaving her head which she dedicated to a recent friends battle with breast cancer. Dee was supported by family members who also shaved down for the cause.
Capalaba players are in pink playing strip or alternatively yellow tops with pink socks.
