THE Redland Devils climbed back into second place in the National Football Premier League with a strong 5-1 win over the Academy of Sports last Friday.
They will be determined to hold onto this top two position when they take on the ninth placed Palm Beach Sharks in Cleveland at 6pm on Saturday.
Determined to avenge their loss the previous week, the Devils came out firing, with three goals in the first half.
Redlands' Reuben Way and Jhesion Macuace were dangerous with Way banging home two goals and Macuace tucking away an easy tap in for the first goal.
The second half was just as eventful, with young player Dylan Stubbs making some effective runs down the left side to get in behind the QAS attack.
Macuace scored a second goal in the 71st minute.
Matt Hughes tucked in behind the QAS line where he was brought down in box and the Devil penalty wizard, Graham Fyfe, stepped up to slot home the final goal .
